Hi, I’m Megan — and I’ve spent more than a decade helping kids believe they can do anything
I started my career in special education, working with students from grades 2–12. Nine years in that world means I’ve seen every kind of learner, every kind of barrier, and every kind of breakthrough. After spending three years co‑teaching intermediate math, I realized something big: this is where my heart is.
For the past two years, I’ve been a fourth‑grade math teacher, which means I’ve now spent five years living in the world of intermediate math, watching students go from “I can’t do this” to “Wait… I get this.”
And here’s what I’ve learned: Kids don’t struggle because they’re lacking something — they just need the right kind of support at the right moment. And when the adults in their world feel calm, confident, and connected to how math is taught today, kids feel that too.
That’s why these guides exist. At The Good Solve Co., we focus on helping parents feel equipped with clear tools that make modern math make sense. Real‑life tips, approachable strategies, and plenty of encouragement so you can help your child grow with confidence.
